Paulo Mattos

Research

Physician, former professor of Psychiatry and Mental Health at the Medical School, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where he received an award for Excellence in Medical Education and has been an honored teacher several times throughout his academic career. He is currently a professor at the Ph.D. Program at Institute D’Or for Research and Education (IDOR) where he also participates in different research areas (ADHD, Ageing and Dementia, Neuropsychology). He has participated in several national and international boards and has lectured in many congresses. He has received grants from the NIMH (National Institute of Mental Health, USA), Capes (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior), and CNPq (Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico). He has published more than 150 scientific papers and has advised more than 40 students in their Master’s and Ph.D. degrees.
